(2004-01-23) Dean Post Iowa Howl

Dave Winer on the background of the Howard Dean howl (Doc Searls called it a Barbaric Yawp). My reaction when I saw it wasn't that it had too much Human Voice, but not enough - it seemed clearly designed to keep his followers pumped-up, and seemed too forced to me. Maybe if he had built up to it following a more honest acknowledgement that they'd just had their butts kicked... But then again, I'm not a Pump You Up kinda guy, which may bias my perspective...
