There was a heady moment in 2000 where we thought the P2P people were fixing NAT traversal as a general solution, but here it is 4 years later, and we're still fixing this problem imperfectly and app by app. For things like Sub Etha to work, we need to take into account that the users most likely to need zero configuration tools are the users who are least likely to have a naked IP address.
