David Brin was on the first/test episode of ArchiTechs. It was rather unsatisfying for reasons I can't really identify. The subject (designing Innovation-s for Fire Department-s) seemed like it should be interesting, but just didn't work for me. (The key "client" was ex-NYC Fire Department-head Thomas Von Essen.)
