(2007-03-17) Jaiku Universal Outbox

Do we need the concept of a Universal Outbox as an aggregator of our various outputs, similar to our Universal Inbox? Is this part of the Open Social Networking Model?

Stowe Boyd is playing with JaiKu for this, framing it like LifeStreams. Combining it with Presence Detection (Real Time tools like Twitter) seems inevitable.

• That "LifeStreaming" label was written about recently by Mike Gunderloy, giving some credit to Jeremy Keith (with no reference to LifeStreams)

• Which relates to "WorkStreaming" as written about by Anne Zelenka as virtual Face Time. Clearly the TeamWiki RecentChanges page (or RSS) fits in there.

  • note that if you're a Free Agent, you need to separate your different client-specific activities, probably, rather than having an overall feed like Twitter.
