California voters have adopted a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage (Gay Marriage), The Associated Press reported Wednesday, joining voters in two other states who went to the polls Tuesday to overturn such unions.

Ironically, non-white voters, driven to the polls to support Barack Obama, were strongly in favor of that amendment. Religion and the hypocrisy of Civil Rights again.
