(2008-11-15) Downey Tiddlywiki Local App Security

Paul Downey [notes](http://osmosoft.com/~psd/Tiddly WikiDeviceAccess/) that being a local Html Application/Single Page Application gives Tiddly Wiki the ability (given Security) rules to do more than an HTTP-accessed WebApp, without requiring a newbie-hostile Desktop Web Server. Among other things, it can access local device API-s like GPS, local music/file Meta Data (ITunes, IPhoto), etc. (Mobile Web)

(I found Tiddly Wiki unusuable during N810 As PIM, but I just found that there are fixes available, so may want to try again.)

Update: PhoneGap is a development tool that allows web developers to take advantage of the core features in the IPhone, Android, and Blackberry SDK using JavaScript.
