Hillary Hartley on the DiyCity-created Diy Traffic Platform for city-specific Street Traffic alerts. It's based on the Yahoo traffic API, which uses data from Traffic Cast. Argh, Yahoo maps show status along a route, but the API only gives status "around a Location".
