(2009-04-01) Rockefeller Open Source Emr Arra Amendment

Jay Rockefeller inserted an amendment into ARRA requiring that Open Source EMR approaches be explored. The provision directs the Health and Human Services Department to conduct a report on the "availability of open-source health information technology systems."
