(2009-04-15) Robb Cascio Resilience
John Robb compares Jamais Cascio's thinking about Resilience to his own. Unfortunately, I can't see anything approximating this happening without a shift towards resilient communities. Why? It's important to consider how Network-s fail - they break into disconnected clusters when under assault. As a result, scale invariance is important, since no matter how small the temporarily disconnected cluster is, it should still able to operate. Resilient communities ensure that is the case by geographically dispersing production.
