(2009-09-05) Apple Tree

We have a nice Apple Tree outside the Barrington Il house. FlickR:Apple Tree.

Unfortunately, they have this weird spotting on the leaves and apples.

argh, suspect it is Black Spot (Venturia inaequalis)

Sept15 update: getting tired of the Yellow Jacket-s drawn to the apples. Can't even pick up the apples to get rid of them except at night (or when it's raining).
