(2010-07-13) Zed Mongrel2

Zed Shaw has been working on Mongrel2, a complete redesign of the Mongrel Web Server to be an application, language, and network architecture agnostic web server. It's written by the original author of Mongrel, and uses the Mongrel HTTP parser, but everything else is new. The goal is to create a web server specifically designed for web applications (WebApp-s) over serving files.

JSSockets work, and they're reliable. When WebSockets is established and in at least 2 browsers I'll add that as well. I will not support Comet, Orbited, HTTP long poll, or any other stupid way to abuse HTTP as an ASynch socket.
