(2010-08-24) Riaa Fm Cell Force Attempt

The RIAA and FM broadcasters couldn't come to a deal on broadcasters paying for the music they play (currently, only songwriters get paid, not artists or labels... Satellite Radio and webcasters (Internet Radio) currently pay full performance fees to labels or artists, but Radio does not, thanks to a longstanding exemption in copyright law.).

So they came up with a "compromise" involving requiring FM hardware to be in every Mobile!

Any congressman supporting such a deal should be hung from a tarry tree.
