(2011-08-02) Family Phone Upgrade Time

We're on T-Mobile. The Wife and I each have a Nexus One, Number One Son has a MyTouch. It's time for Number Two Son to get a Mobile. So I'll probably stick with my phone, buy something new for The Wife, then hers goes to Number One Son, etc.

Once I have the new phone and its SIM card, is this just a matter of each person keeping her SIM card and popping it in to her new phone?

For the new phone, what should we buy? Nexus S? Galaxy S? Something else? The Wife's biggest complaint has been Battery Life. 2010-07-28-[[Nexus OneBattery Life]]

Update: didn't do any trickle-down, just bought new phone for Number Two Son directly. A newer MyTouch with slider Keyboard.
