(2012-06-13) Mace Zekira Context Engine Crowdfunding

Michael Mace and a team are working on a Zekira "ConText Engine", and are seeking Crowd Funding for it on Indie Gogo. It's currently running on Mac and PC, but really aims to run as a WebApp so that it's available on your Tablet/Mobile/etc. It smells like a cross between a Desktop Search Engine/PIM and a Life Streaming tool.

He's trying to solve people's Information Overload. Take all the information held by a mid-career professional and stuff it into a 20-year-old's head and he or she will have the same problems... they constitute a huge loss in productivity among the busiest and most pivotal people in the economy... A context engine needs to do three things with your information: Collect, connect, and communicate. I solve this by using a Shared Vocabulary with my team-mates and my Future Self via WikiWord-s.
