(2012-07-09) Thunderbird Into Stasis

Mozilla is putting ThunderBird into stability/security mode - meaning no future feature development.

Phil Jones suggests a couple new things they could have done. I think his idea of using the Web Browser as a front-end GUI is interesting - I would go further and suggest that maybe it should be a WebApp (even if for a Desktop Web Server), and extend to become a Universal Inbox.
