(2012-08-01) Watters Educational Philosophy Overview

Audrey Watters thinks anyone working in Educational Technology needs a grounding in the background of Educational Philosophy.

She's starting a Public Wiki to build that intro info. The goal of this project is to fix that by producing a short guide to the core concepts that someone really must be familiar with to take part in a grown-up conversation about education and technology. Putting it another way, someone who has read this guide should have a comprehensive (albeit shallow) knowledge of the educational landscape---there shouldn't be any glaring "unknown unknowns" in their understanding of the subject. Our target is 50 topics of 1000 words each; both numbers are negotiable, but it must be possible to read the whole guide on a flight from New York to San Francisco (because that's all the time the people we're trying to reach will give us).
