Slack co-founder's goal: Grow users by more than 6,000%

Slack co-founder Cal Henderson has big, brash goals for his office instant messaging business: Grow Slack’s user base from 8 million daily active users to 500 million.

Henderson said about 60% of Slack users are in non-technical roles.

*Slack has raised $1.2bn (£900,000) in funding since 2010, according to CrunchBase. It most recently raised $427m (£328m) in August, its largest ever fundraising round.

Slack, which is based in San Francisco, California, has more than 1,000 staff.*
