1) Check Your Input and Output Options in GarageBand’s Settings
This won’t be necessary unless you use an audio interface to connect a MIDI keyboard like I do. If you just use a USB cable and your PC, the keyboards I mentioned earlier will be plug-and-play.
2) Reset Your MIDI Drivers
go into your Garageband Preferences, Select “Audio/MIDI,” and then click the “re-set the MIDI Drivers” button.
