Venkatesh Rao gives a Seldon checklist (cf Asimov Foundation)

• 1. Does your writing span at least 3000 BC to 3000 AD?
• 2. Can you explain why chaos wouldn’t make psychohistory impossible?
• 3. Do you have a paper idea for a prime radiant?
• 4. Do you have a dark-age-shortening plan?
• 5. Does your plan have inner/outer parts?

EpsilonTheory is one of the few who has really tried to qualify.
