He has launched over 3500 products services and businesses across nearly every industry, including defense, automotive, software, financial services and education, among many others. He is an Adjunct Lecturer of Executive MBA Education at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Entrepreneurship. Moesta is also a research fellow at the Christensen Institute in Boston.
Moesta, along with Harvard Business School Professor Clayton Christensen, is one of the principal architects of the Jobs To Be Done Theory the revolutionary innovation framework that identifies disruptive innovation through understanding what causes customers to make choices that help them achieve progress. He has continued to develop, advance and apply the innovation framework through the addition of quality principles to everyday business challenges evolving it into Green Line Development making innovation more predictable and successful.
