I no longer call myself an artist. I think that "culture work" is a more appropriate description of what I do. I am committed to working in the language of popular culture... Humanists who attempt Culture work will always be attacked by elites... This position is possible because the values oat the heart of humanism still have not been understood. Culture work excites the will to action. It requires means of dissemination, often found in commercial media, which after all are at the intersection of communication technologies and the market economy.
