Dynamic HTML.
For Rich Client development.
Used to be unstandardized, but now that seems to have changed. The W3C [DOM] is largely supported in both [IE] and Mozilla and to a lesser degree in Konq and Opera.
http://www.zvon.org is a great resource in this space.
http://www.dithered.com/javascript/dom2_events/index.html bridges the [IE] event model to [DOM] standard compliance
http://www.xs4all.nl/%7Eppk/js/index.html?importxml.html bridges differences in browser xml loading. The W3C [DOM] is largely supported in both [IE] and Mozilla and to a lesser degree in Konq and Opera. --Andyed
