Finally saw in Live Performance for Love This Giant tour in 2012.

1970-71: student at RISD. formed band Artistics with Frantz and Weymouth

1971-72: student at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art)

1974: moved to NYC

Talking Heads:

• 1975: Talking Heads started while everyone had day-jobs.
• 1977: first album (Talking Heads 77)
• Brian Eno albums: More Songs About Buildings and Food (1978), Fear of Music (1979), and Remain in Light (1980)

• 1983: commercial peak: Burning Down the House
• 1984: Stop Making Sense
• 1988: hiatus

1989: Rei Momo was the first solo album by Byrne after leaving Talking Heads, and features mainly Afro-Cuban, Afro-Hispanic, and Brazilian song styles
