Duct Tape Billfold
Wanted something smaller and simpler than a Duct Tape Wallet. So I made a billfold, really just a pocket.

Sizing:
-
once you fold a bill in half, it's not as long as a credit card, but it's a bit wider.
-
so my target was the larger object in each direction, which came to 3-3/4" x 2-1/2".
-
as you can see from the picture, this may not really be enough to totally contain bills, esp if you overfill it.
What I did
-
2 4" strips stuck to each other; fold the assembly lengthwise, it will become the bottom edge
-
take a template card that's big enough, take an 8" strip and wrap it around the long direction, sticky side out; the 2 ends should wrap over each other by roughly 1/2". Slide that ring up to one edge of the template
-
take your bottom-edge piece and place that around the opposite edge of the template. It will end up overlapping the "ring" by roughly 1/2".
-
make another 8" strip and wrap it around the template, directly over the sticky-out ring, this time sticky-in, so those 2 rings cover each other (with the bottom-edge piece stuck between them).
-
slide the template piece out of the pocket
-
you may need to take a scissors and trim the open edge, since the 2 rings probably didn't line up perfectly.
This may be too minimalist, but hey, everything is Iterative....
