Immersive

Immersive design (Experimental Design) describes design work which ranges in levels of interaction and leads users to be fully absorbed in an experience. This form of design involves the use of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) that create the illusion that the user is physically interacting with a realistic digital atmosphere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immersive_design

Immersive learning is a learning method with students being immersed into a virtual dialogue, the feeling of presence is used as an evidence of getting immersed. The virtual dialogue can be created by two ways, the usage of virtual technics, and the narrative like reading a book. The motivations of using virtual reality (VR) for teaching contain: learning efficiency, time problems, physical inaccessibility, limits due to a dangerous situation and ethical problems. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immersive_learning

In virtual reality (VR), immersion is the perception of being physically present in a non-physical world. The perception is created by surrounding the user of the VR system in images, sound or other stimuli that provide an engrossing total environment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immersion_(virtual_reality)

Immersive theater is a style of performance that removes the traditional separation between the audience and the performers, commonly referred to as the "fourth wall."[1] Unlike conventional theater where spectators sit in fixed seating facing a stage, immersive theater places audience members inside the physical environment of the performance.[2] Spectators are often granted varying degrees of agency to explore the space, interact with the performers, and choose their own narrative path through the space. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immersive_theater

Immersive Journalism is a form of journalism production that allows first person experience of the events or situations described in news reports and documentary film. Using 3D gaming and immersive technologies that create a sense of "being there" and offer the opportunity to personally engage with a story, immersive journalism puts an audience member directly into the event.[1] By accessing a virtual version of the location where the story is occurring as a witness/participant, or by experiencing the perspective of a character depicted in the news story, the audience could be afforded unprecedented access to the sights and sounds, and even the feelings and emotions, which accompany the news. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immersive_journalism
