Portable computer but unforunately not Instant On.
I have a [Sony Vaio] (bought Dec'1999!) which is acceptable. I was given a WiFi card, which I use at home with my Cable Modem.
The new (Nov'03) [TR2AP1] looks pretty good - 3.3lbs, 7 hrs battery, 512MB [RAM], Centrino, integrated camera...
for LinuxOS support people recommend buying from http://www.emperorlinux.com/
Dec'2004 - bought an IBook!
