Peter Drucker says there are 4 new economies:

• a world economy of Information (Information Economy)
• a global oligopoly of Money (see Credit Crisis 2008)
• a world economy of the Multi National-s (BigWorld)
• a new Mercantilism (Mercantilist) (operating at the levels of blocs like the EU rather than Nation-States)
