concept from Clay Shirky's Here Comes Everybody
"rules" for success large-scale Collaborat Ion. The promise is the basic "why" for anyone to join or contribute to a group. The tool helps with the "how" - how will the difficulties of [Coordinat Ion] be overcome, or at least held to manageable levels? And the bargain sets the rules of the road: if you are interested in the promise and adopt the tools, what can you expect, and what will be expected of you?
He says they should be DeSign-ed in that order.
Eugene Eric Kim tells the story of using this FramIng for a group, but he didn't use the same order. He sees the process of picking the 2 ends of what you want, then picking the Tool to fit.
