Pros and Cons

A decisional balance sheet or decision balance sheet is a tabular method for representing the pros and cons of different choices and for helping someone decide what to do in a certain circumstance. It is often used in working with ambivalence in people who are engaged in behaviors that are harmful to their health (for example, problematic substance use or excessive eating),[1] as part of psychological approaches such as those based on the transtheoretical model of change,[2] and in certain circumstances in motivational interviewing.[3] decision-making thinking tool

Sometimes this is enough to settle on a decision, sometimes it helps shake out the criteria (and relative weights) to use in a fancier table.
