DomAPI, a DHTML library for building browser-based GUIs (not the old ones, but current versions of both MsIE and Mozilla). Written about for Stating The Obvious. It's still a work in progress, and it doesn't support nearly enough platforms yet. But DOMAPI is spectacular already. And it'll evolve, and it'll be good enough a year from now to be the basis of a large, stable array of applications, guaranteeing its future development and viability.
