A celebration of the music of the innovative composer, arranger and pianist Gil Evans on the anniversary of his 90th birthday. The Gil Evans Orchestra led by MilesEvans, Gil's son, extend his legacy with an all-star ensemble bring classical scores associated with Jimi Hendrix, MilesDavis, and others to life. Miles Evans- Trumpet, Lew Soloff- trumpets, Chris Hunter- alto sax, flute, Conrad Herwig- trombone, David "Fuze" Fiuczynski- guitar, Delmar Brown- keyboards, voice, Mark Egan- Bass, Kenwood Dennard- drums, percussion.
