Think Cycle is a MediaLab project to create a process/platform for people to donate time (mainly students via for-credit projects, with "domain experts" providing peer review) to working on useful design projects for NGOs. If they can keep the environment read-only for most people (or maybe use an Idea Futures model to filter), this could be very useful.
