GroupWare thoughts Of The Day:

  • if we focus on organizations of 100 employees or less, might we find more "open" cultural expectations (in terms of respecting personal knowledge/data overlap with corporate data)? Or, might we find "nicer" practices over time (if they learn faster about their dependence on good people)?

  • for a small organization, can you assume that your team members can procure their key net services elsewhere? Then what's the least amount of integrating infrastructure needed to do business? I'm thinking that instead of competing with MsExchange we make it unnecessary, simultaneously allowing each Free Agent to have his own approach to personal info mgmt, as long as his toolkit supports enough standards to integrate with others (e.g. Group Calendaring free/busy).
