Apple Computer will provide a new calendar app called "ICal". Steve Jobs says Modern life requires multiple calendars. I'm not sure I agree. There's some sort of publish/subscribe, but I wonder whether there's any Group Calendaring support?

Jul18 followup: Apple page says Everyone in your family or workgroup can have their own calendar or calendars, and iCal can show them to you in a single unified view... Publishing calendars on the Internet requires a .Mac membership or a WebDAV server.

Also, here's a Hack The Planet thread which discusses the implications for the market for 3rd party Mac PIM applications...

And a thread about the possibility of Apple building a WebLog tool.
