(2003-05-06) Teaching Via Reality Simulation

Semi-silly idea Of The Day: use Reality Tv/For Hackers format for Educating Kids. Set up projects like Junkyard Wars, Worst Case Scenario, etc. Not just a contest with a single winner, but include follow-up discussion and qualitative evaluation. Have variety of projects ready (with different emphases), assign randomly at last minute so preparation/Specialization not possible. Self-created ongoing teams? Randomly create teams per event? Simulation?
