(2004-03-22) Zope Lite

Matt Grayson on the annoyance of there being too many Python Web Framework-s, and therefore no critical mass in any of them (except Zope). Which prompted in me the idea of I wonder whether it would be possible to design some sort of Zope-light which might share some bit of code (e.g. ZPT) while dropping others that annoy people while adding too much abstraction (ZODB: put data in SQL, put code in filesystem)? The idea being to have enough commonality to leverage the Zope community (and maybe more easily steal members from it!)...
