also note he's storing those as independent text files, which means he can use any old app to edit them if he wants (PDA vs Wiki thought?)

I wonder if he plays with more-structured data this way at all? YAML?
- response from him: he just keeps PIM-like data as text, no special markup. Uses a fulltext Search Engine (via David Mertz) to find things quickly.
