(2004-05-27) Bicking Anti Pickling

Ian Bicking is not happy with pickling for Transparent Object Persistence. Likes a Relational Data Base, though I'm not a big fan of using lots of Stored Procedure-s and other related features (many uses of triggers and views, for instance). I'm trying to protect the data from the code, and putting code in the database compromises that. See comments about YAML, ORM. See older thread about Xml Pickle.
