Brian Hatch is a critic of NYC's bid for the 2012 Olympics. In 1992, he was appointed the deputy mayor of Salt Lake City and served for eight years as that city readied itself for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. (He still wants it to come to the city, but stay out in Queens. He's specifically against the West Side Stadium plan.)
