(2004-08-19) Ezpass Tip

HowTo Of The Day: if you drive with any regularity in the NYC area, you really need an EzPass tag, otherwise you wait forever in the toll lines. You can sign up online, but the form says you need to call in if you don't own or lease a vehicle. After 10 minutes on hold, I found out you should just use the online form but (a) use the first 6 letters of your last name as a license-plate number, and pick Unknown for the Car Make.

Also, if you don't enter a Year for your Unknown car you'll get an incomprehensible error message. So I put 2004.
