Two pieces on Selective Enforcement in NYC:

• Mike Bloomberg's intentional harassment of sex shops (Prostitution). "What we can do," the mayor said, "is try to use whatever tools we have to make it as uncomfortable, expensive - whatever word you want to use - for these sex shops, and hopefully they'll go away."

• Confusing rules for Street Vendor-s. Consequently, many vendors receive more than three fines in a day or a week, much less a two-year period.
