(2004-11-01) West Wing Pro Intervention

I just saw the latest West Wing episode last night. Didn't it seem a bit like Bartlett's argument for sending American troops as peacekeepers into Jerusalem was somewhat analogous to the spreading-democracy argument for the War On Iraq? Leo compared it to Woodrow Wilson's creation of the LeagueOfNations, which I didn't realize we never even joined.
