Seth Godin on BitTorrent as a delivery mechanism for video Advertising. The only issue, I think, is that the big benefits from BitTorrent come only when there are a number of people downloading/sharing a given file at the same time. So, if your file is on the Long Tail, you don't get much benefit. But I guess the point is that you don't have to worry about being killed by success.
