Last week we had another fire-drill of Dealing With Terrorism after a scare about bombing attacks on the NYC Subway. It turns out it was a hoax. New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg warned Thursday that the city had received information from the FBI about a "specific threat," prompting the heightened subway security... After Bloomberg's warning, some intelligence officials played down the New York information, saying it was not credible. Hmm, were we scammed to distract people from the Tom De Lay indictment?
