(2005-10-20) Wikipedia Improve With Questions

In ignoring the latest silliness over Wikipedia "quality", I had a thought: I wonder whether anyone ever "improves" a page, not by adding or rewriting facts, but by Asking Questions or postings comments around specific sentences? I suppose that's what the "Talk" page is for, but doesn't that kinda hide the messiness of reality? Maybe they need a 2-column view so one column can be the "content" and the other column can be the commentary? Annotation Systems.
