Despite being the UnConference King, Dave Winer invested in a new site/service called ConFabb to apply Social Software goodness to a directory of Conferences (not just in Tech fields.) Confabb is lead by former PubSub co-founder Salim Ismail, product manager Cameron Barrett (who incidentally built campaign web sites for Wesley Clark and John Kerry) and former ATT exec and PubSub team member Jon Mandell.

Marc Canter isn't impressed.
