(2007-07-22) Google Open Broadband

Google committed to bid ($4.6B) on the Analog Tv Spectrum if the FCC will put the rules in place to make it an OpenNet. They sent a letter to the FCC along with Skype and Frontline Wireless and a bunch of other folks to encourage these rules.

Tom Evslin notes the predictable FUD from the TelCo crowd.
