Hmm, does it count if it's only accessible in-house (in the local network), vs from anywhere in the world/universe?

Microsoft is partnering with Sam Sung to build these in the future. (when?)

Rearden Steel, founded by WebTV inventor Steve Perlman, is also in this business.

Is a normal consumer going to want to run anything web-by on this (as a Full Peer)? Like a Web Server for their WebLog? I can't imagine wanting to worry about data Back Up, DOS attacks on their stereo, etc.
