(2007-10-08) Google Phone Os Not Phone

It sounds like there won't be a single GPhone, but rather an Open Source Operating System (based on LinuxOS) plus applications for Mobile devices created by Google for anyone to use without licensing fees. Google is expected to unveil the fruit of its mobile efforts later this year, and phones based on its technology could be available next year.
