(2007-12-31) Mcclure Pirate Metrics

Dave McClure has a presentation on "Metrics for Pirates", using the AARRR Sales Funnel/Life Cycle model. (Acquistion, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue)

Update: lots of presentations use that model now.

Hmm, when you have a complex product (like something in the Self Improvement (Hero's Journey) category), do you need to split Activation into 2 levels and push out Retention (90 days instead of 30 days, or some metric of repeated cycles of activity)?
